The Montcalm hotel in London’s Mayfair has undergone a considered transformation, blending its architectural heritage with a modern, narrative-led approach to design. In Sleeper magazine, art consultancy Culture A discusses how the interiors reflect a philosophy of “sensitive luxury”, using layered materials, curated artworks and carefully composed spatial transitions to evoke a calm, residential feel. The result is a hotel that balances historic character with a contemporary, story-driven guest experience.
